WTF is DDC?
At its core, Dead Dads Club is a peer-to-peer community for young men who have lost their dads and dads who have lost their kids. But it’s bigger than that. You don’t have to have been affected to show support. This an inclusive club where the only entry requirement is the desire to be a member.
How it started
Born out of StrongMen, Dead Dads Club started as an initiative with the simple goal of creating a space where men of all ages, backgrounds and experiences can support each other, share knowledge, discuss heavy topics or just chat sh*t. Whatever floats your boat. We know there’s no one correct way to feel.
Where it's going
From a tight-knit community to a global cultural movement, we’ve got big plans.
Ambitious? You bet. Art, fashion, design, comedy – you name it, we’re on it. We want show up in all different cultural pockets, working alongside our incredible ambassadors, to revolutionise the conversation around grief, bereavement and mental health.
Our purpose
It’s not a groundbreaking insight that many men, and particularly young men, struggle to open up – but that doesn’t make it any less true.
Dead Dads Club exists to normalise feelings of grief and create real, raw, open conversations amongst those typically least inclined to talk about their emotions.
